Ask any Pokémon TCG Pocket veteran about Deluxe Pack: ex and they will likely answer with a long, knowing sigh. The eleventh expansion in the game's young history — and the final one to carry the "A" prefix — landed with 25 regular themed collections, a mountain of pack openings, and six secret missions that have kept collectors happily busy ever since. On paper, those secret missions look like the toughest the game has ever served up. In practice, they are surprisingly gentle, and that is precisely what makes them so tempting to chase.
The reason is simple, and it is the detail that changes everything: cards pulled from older sets still count toward Deluxe Pack: ex missions. Anyone who has been cracking packs since launch will probably discover that a few of these challenges are already finished, sitting quietly in the Missions menu like a forgotten cup of tea.

The Three Museum Missions
These are the classic collection hunts, and they are where most of the grind lives.
Museum 1 asks for the full ★★ roster, a glittering lineup headlined by Buzzwole ex, Charizard ex, Ho-Oh ex, Palkia ex, Pikachu ex, Mewtwo ex, Mew ex, Lunala ex, Dialga ex, Solgaleo ex, Eevee ex, Lugia ex, and Arceus ex. Museum 2 narrows the lens to the set's Art Rares: Floragato, Crawdaunt, Greninja, Gardevoir, Slurpuff, and Farfetch'd. Museum 3 is the shortest of the trio, needing only three Supporters — Professor's Research, Lillie, and Lusamine — to close the book.

Any ★★ Will Do
Here is the kicker: one of the six secret missions does not care which ★★ card a player pulls. Any single one of them flips the switch. For collectors who have been chasing the rarest prints for months, this one tends to complete itself without any real effort at all.
ex Complete! — The Scariest Name, The Softest Landing
The name sounds like a threat. It is not. This mission wants every regular ex card ever released, from Venusaur ex and Beedrill ex through to Arceus ex, and it counts cards pulled from earlier expansions. Long-time players may open the mission screen and find the counter already sitting at a comfortable number. For newcomers, it is a long road — but a rewarding one, since each milestone pays out 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, and 10 Shop Tickets.

Pikachu Museum and the Iconic Emblem
Some missions are about numbers. This one is about devotion. Pikachu Museum requires one of every Pikachu in the set: the standard Pikachu, Pikachu ex from Genetic Apex, Pikachu ex from Shining Revelry, Pikachu ex from Deluxe Pack: ex, and the immersive Pikachu ex. Finish the collection and the game hands over a Pikachu Emblem — a small badge with a very loud personality.

The 25 Regular Themed Collections
Beyond the secret missions, Deluxe Pack: ex ships with 25 standard themed collections, all listed inside the Themed Collections tab of the Missions menu. Completing every one of them pays out 100 Emblem Tickets, 132 Wonder Hourglasses, and 22 Shop Tickets. And yes, older cards count here too.

Why It Matters
Deluxe Pack: ex is the final set wearing the "A" prefix, which gives these missions a slightly bittersweet flavor. They are a victory lap of sorts — a reward for everyone who stuck around through ten expansions of pack-opening, trading, and the occasional heartbreak of a duplicate rare.
Some things, after all, are better discovered than explained. The missions are already waiting in the menu, quietly counting every card a player has ever pulled.
